State-run Russian Post intends to build a $73.6m zonal sorting center in Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo industry and logistics park, regional officials report.
Under plans, the company is to build a five-hectare facility to sort mail and process cargos.
The center’s projected daily capacity is up to 1.5 million letters, parcels and packages.
Construction is scheduled to last up to 1.5 years.
Tolmachevo industry and logistics park is a complex of warehouse and production facilities. Construction started in 2007 and is scheduled to last up to 15 years. Total investment into the project is estimated at $460m.
