UCLH wants Taganrog Ship for $50m, might shell out more

6 Feb '09
Dutch company Universal Cargo Logistics Holding BV (UCLH) plans to buy Taganrog Ship Repairs, Kommersant reported today.

The purchase price has yet to be disclosed. Experts have estimated it at around $50m; however, according to Kommersant, an owner of the Russian facility expects to sell it at a far higher price.

Taganrog Ship Repairs reportedly owns fuel oil and grain terminals at the Taganrog sea port.

Holland's UCLH belongs to Vladimir Lisin, owner of the Novolipetsk Steel group, and manages his transport and logistics assets.
