East-Siberian Railways builds $3.4m rail junction at BAM

Interregional rail operator East-Siberian Railways has built a $3.4m Irdykan railway junction in Irkutsk region, the company reports.

The new junction is built at Zvezdnaya – Niya rail track and is reportedly to increase traffic capacity at Baikal-Amur Mainline.

East-Siberian Railways is a part of national rail operator Russian Railways.
