St. Pete’s Sportivnaya-2 metro station to cost $155m

Total investment into construction of a hallway of Sportivnaya-2 metro station with an exit to Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg is estimated at $155.4m, Interfax reports.

Under the project, the funds are to be used to lay a 250-meter pedestrian tunnel under the Malaya Neva river, build a hallway under Makarov Embankment and two exits out of metro towards Tuchkov bridge.

Construction is scheduled to last four years.
