Polish shipyard Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa has commissioned a third container ship for Russia’s Far East Shipping, Interfax reported today, citing sources in the Russian company.

According to Far East Shipping, the Fesco Vladimir with 22,750 ton deadweight has the container capacity of 1,730 TEU (an equivalent of a 20-foot container). It is 184.1 meters long and 25.3 meters wide, the sources said.

With its 9.85-meter draft the vessel will reportedly be able to go at 19.7 knots.

The E3 ice class Fesco Vladimir has three cargo cranes with 45-ton elevating capacity each and 200 outlets to plug in refrigerated containers, the sources specified.

Far East Shipping is the base company for the Fesco transportation group.
