Anadyr airport to get $95m RF upgrade

The federal government is to allocate $95m on reconstruction of Anadyr international airport in Chukotka Autonomous District in 2011, district officials report.

Under plans, the funds are to be spent on reconstruction of aircraft flying line, taxiways, as well as repairs of a 950-meter central section of the runway.

The works are scheduled to start on May 15, 2011, and be completed by October 30, 2011.
