Moscow developer SU-155 has announced $250m plans to build a ski complex in Nizhny Novgorod.
The complex is reportedly to be located along the city’s Grebnoy Canal.
The project design was drafted by Great Britain’s Wilkinson Eyre.
Under plans, the 28,000-square-meter complex is to have a 120-meter ski-ramp, 22,000-square-meter ski slope, skate-ring, water-park, retail shops, residential complex, hotel and parking.
The complex is scheduled to be put into commission by 2012.
Marchmont first wrote about the company’s plans to build the complex on March 31, 2008, but later the company shelved the project (see news of November 27).
