Investment Council reviews city center hotels bid

Nizhny Novgorod's Investment Council is to meet today to consider an $84m application from HotelInvest-Nizhny Novgorod, which wants to build two new hotels.

The firm said the two 370-room hotels would be run in partnership with international hotel giant InterContinental Hotels Group and would be branded under InterContinental's Holiday Inn brand.


The firm, which registered in Nizhny Novgorod in November last year with a view to undertaking projects in the city, said it expected to make its money back on the project within six years.
