BAMO to build $181m hotel in Sochi

5 Aug '09
Moscow developer BAMO has announced $181m plans to build a four-star hotel complex in Sochi.

The hotel is reportedly to be located on a 1.5-hectare site, rented by the company, in Sochi’s Imeritinskaya Nizmennost district.

The nine-storey 44,000-square-meter hotel is to have 500 guest rooms, a restaurant, gym and chapel, officials said.

Construction is scheduled to be completed by 2012.

Under the project design, the complex, to be named Kamni Armenii (Stones of Armenia), is to be built in Armenian style will look like a mountain from one side and like a hotel from the other.
