Tele2 buys final 12.5% in Rostov Cell for $50m

Sweden telecom Tele2 has signed a contract to purchase 12.5% shares in Rostovskaya Sotovaya Svyaz (Rostov Cell Connection), working in Rostov region under Tele2 Rostov brand, the company reports.

The deal price is about $50m, with part of the funds to be paid in 36 months after the deal is finalized, the firm said.

After the deal is completed, Tele2’s share in the Rostov company is reportedly to reach 100%.
