MTS buys Altay regionís Inteleca for $19.2m

National mobile operator MTS has purchased 100% shares in alternative operator Inteleca, providing broadband Internet and cable TV services in Barnaul and Biysk, Altay region, for $19.2m, MTS reports.

The shares were reportedly purchased from a group of private investors.

Inteleca covers 163,000 households in Barnaul and 25,000 households in Biysk. The company owns 500 kilometers of fiber-optic cable.
