. Mr. White will offer an experienced perspective on the Russian R&D, polytechnic, and university landscape, key institutional support mechanisms, and sectors in Russia which offer the best investment opportunities.
Kendrick D. White, the founder and CEO of Marchmont Capital Partners, LLC, has more than 25 years of professional investment experience in Russia. A former PWC advisor on SME development to the Russian government in the 1990s, Mr. White also has a successful VC investment track record as Director of the EBRD's $50.0 Mio Central Russia Regional Venture Fund. He has focused Marchmont's resources on identifying new high-tech investment projects and developing their commercial viability in the areas of medical diagnostic devices, clean technologies, new materials chemistry, space & IT, FMCG preventative nutritional supplements, and micro-electronics. He was an adviser to two bilateral presidential initiatives in high technology and innovation as well as to the RVC Expert Council.
Between 2012-2017, Mr. White was an Adviser to the Rector of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, where he was ultimately appointed as a Vice Rector, responsible for Innovation. His work focused on modernizing the university tech transfer and IP protection functions and resulted in the development of a pioneering Technology Commercialization Center, which became a model for tech transfer for many other universities in Russia. Today, Mr. White continues this effort to promote global best practices as the Head of the International Relations Committee of the National Association of Technology Transfer, (NATT), founded by Moscow State University.
Based on this unique experience, Mr. White has developed a regional network of more than 100 formal and informal partnerships across Russia, including six of the country's top national research universities, ten of the top high-tech technoparks, infrastructure development agencies, accelerators, R&D labs and incubators.

Mr. White is a frequent guest lecturer at various Russian universities. Prior to his career in Russia, Mr. White worked at ABN/Amro LaSalle Bank in Chicago in various management positions. He holds an MBA in Finance & International Business from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA in International Economics from Stetson University.
