Inoventica builds up ‘clouds’; Kazan’s Startpack acquired

ZAO Communications for Innovation, a subsidiary of the Moscow-headquartered Inoventica group of companies, has acquired a minority stake in Startpack, a Kazan-based ‘cloud’ service provider, Republic of Tatarstan, .
is a ‘cloud’ service integrator that offers clients the opportunity to centralize ‘cloud’ apps control, provides unified billing, and markets a number of other solutions that are said to facilitate the creation and management of a small and medium-sized business.
The system is reportedly designed to support the operation of up to two million corporate clients.
Startpack is expected to become Inoventica’s competence center focusing on marketing ‘cloud’ services on an SaaS basis.
This past May Startpack became a resident of Skolkovo, the government-sponsored innovation hub under construction outside Moscow.
The Inoventica group of companies is Russia’s first IT operator to embrace nationwide projects in building public, hybrid and private ‘clouds.’
