Altay region to buy $13.7m medical equipment

Authorities in Altay region have announced an open tender to purchase medical equipment worth a total of $13.7m.

The funds are reportedly allocated from the federal budget under the Federal Oncological Program.

Under the auction, the winner companies are to supply, install and launch medical equipment to be used in diagnostics and treatment of malignant tumors.

The auction is scheduled to take place on June 25, 2010.
