The Skolkovo resident company in Perm has developed functionality for connecting to voice assistants so that they inform parents where their child is. The functionality is available if the child uses a special application or wears a children's GPS watch, Anton Larchenkov, Marketing Director of Where My Children, told TASS.
“Our mission is to help parents raise happy and successful people. The application will help parents to be aware of where their child is without going into the phone. Now a parent can ask a speaker or a device with [voice assistant] Yandex “Alice”: “Alice where are my children?”, And the voice assistant will tell you the exact address or place where the child is,” Larchenkov said.
At the moment, the child search functionality is available both on smart speakers and in other services using Alice: Yandex.Browser, Yandex.Navigator or IRBIS smart home. In the future, the service will be integrated with voice assistants Marusya from VK and Salut from Sberbank for Russian users, as well as with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for foreign users.
In addition to the child's geolocation, parents will be able to analyze his activity. Also, the application will help you select tasks that will take your child in his free time, or protect him from using inappropriate content.
