Selection of participants for the TV show “Real STARTUP” has begun on December 9, 2011, in Sverdlovsk region, the regional Infrastructure HUB reports.

The project welcomes entrepreneurs – initiators of innovative projects.

The main goals of the Real STARTUP project are to tell citizens of Sverdlovsk region about the opportunity to realize their potential in business, as well as to help participants to find partners, clients, fellow-thinkers and other people who can help business to develop much more efficiently.

Under the scenario, each participant will make a “map” of his business development. The show implies detailed observance of daily actions of each participant, challenges and problems he will have to face and decisions he will make in this or that situation. The winners will get valuable prizes and acknowledgement from millions of the show viewers.

Entrepreneurs are welcome to apply between December 9 and January 15 on the show website. Selection process includes rating each business-project by Internet users, participation in contest activities, open casting. TV version of the contest starts on the Oblastnoe Televidenie (Regional Television) on March 19, 2012.

The project leader Maksim Godovyh said, “The word “innovations” has lately been used so frequently that many people don’t realize its meaning. In reality the word implies a usual business with its rules and problems… Together with participants of the reality-show we will be able to feel in real time each moment of the business-project process, discuss motivation of management decision-making. I hope that this will push many people to opening their businesses and will help them to avoid a number of mistakes.”
