Tyumen company SIM-Komplekt has produced the first batch of light-diode lamps, Internet-paper reports.
SIM-Komplekt has presented its products at the seminar on energy saving equipment that was recently held in Tyumen. The company’s representative Sergey Khilchuk explained that the company buys parts for producing light diodes in Taiwan, and assembles them in Tyumen.
Advantages of light-diode lamps include safety, life operation time, lack of expenses on servicing and special utilization, ability to work in extreme conditions. Of course, the main advantage is their economic effectiveness. Their energy consumption is twice low than that of a gas-discharge lamp, and ten times lower than that of a usual incandescent lamp,
So far, the only and main minus of light-diode light sources is their price. For example, a 5 W lamp, equivalent in power to a usual lamp of 50 W, costs about $20. However, time works for this product. A year ago the price for such lamp averaged over $30.
“The market grows, develops, get filled with the new product, and in the future the price is to gradually become lower. We see it in our company. In 2009 nobody knew about light diodes, and now we start getting large regular customers,” Sergey Khilchuk said.
SIM-Komplekt’s products are currently undergoing certification, and in ten days Tyumen light-diodes are to appear at the market.
