“The GreenBush DC data center located at the Alabushevo site is in the top 15 largest data centers in Russia. The company has already allocated 3.7 billion rubles to the development of the data center and by the end of 2023 plans to invest about 2.8 billion rubles in the project. Now the SEZ resident supports the work of more than 200 companies. Among them are Russian microelectronics enterprises, cloud providers and representatives of the public sector. At the same time, the infrastructure of Alabushevo allows increasing volumes with virtually no restrictions,” said Alexander Prokhorov, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.Now the center has 660 information processing racks with a maximum load of 1 rack - up to 20 kW, located in the machine rooms at the Alabushevo site with a total area of 2 hectares. By the end of 2023, the company plans to launch 2,280 racks.
“The commercial data center market is growing rapidly as a consequence of the digitalisation that is gradually spreading across all industries. Resident status provides a company with significant economic advantages: for example, tax breaks on property, land and transport. This allows you to significantly reduce the cost of services and successfully compete in price with other market players,” says Gennady Dyogtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
