AT Consulting Vostok, a resident company of the Academpark science borough in Novosibirsk, in Siberia, has come up with an IT system that is believed to enable the containment of the COVID-19 viral infection, the regional news daily RIA-Siberia reported.
The system is said to be able to help identify the potentially infected, their contact circles, and help enforce quarantine regimes.
The functionality includes the collection, storage and processing of data on people who have arrived from regions known to be highly at risk for the coronavirus, or have been positively diagnosed, or are being monitored. With the system, regional authorities could organize call centers operation to inform populations and interact with the federal authorities, emergency services, and municipalities.
The solution is based on AT Consulting Vostok’s open-source digital platform called Smart City Cloud which has been developed to streamline interrelations between various systems and setups within regional infrastructure (an intelligent base for a range of “smart city” and “safe city” projects). The platform’s capabilities and advantages have already been test-run in AT Consulting Vostok’s own health care projects.
