Two industrial parks, implying creation of glass production complex and solar power station, will appear in Stavropol region, innovation and venture news source reports.
Total cost of investment projects in two parks is estimated at $317m.
The industrial park Gelios will be built in on a 100-hectare land site in Stavropol region’s Krasnogvardeysky district.
Its potential resident is the company Gelios with the investment project of organizing a complex to produce flat glass of high quality with power capacity of 600 tons of glass mass per day. The project cost is to top $144m. The project will be financed by the investor and will be realized using the newest energy saving and ecological safety technologies.
The second industrial park will be created in the resort town of Kislovodsk on an 88-hectare land site for engineering preparation of the territory for implementation of the generating power facilities based on renewable energy sources into the region’s energy system.
The park’s potential resident is the company Sphinx-9 with the project of creation of solar power station with annual production of electrical power of 66,250 kW per hour. Investment in the project will top $173m. The project will be carried out with support from Khevel – a joint venture of the Renova group of companies and Rusnano.
As of now, the region has eight new zones of advanced development with industrial, petrochemical, agricultural and tourism-recreation specializations. The regional industrial parks are located in the towns of Nevinnomyssk, Budyonnovsk, Georgievsk, Mikhailovsk, as well as Trunovsky and Novoaleksandrovsky districts, and the villages of Solnechnodolsk and Novotroitskaya. The parks have about 15 residents with projects costing over $1.3bn.
