Royal Society of Chemistry gears up for Russia Chemistry Week in Moscow

The Royal Society of Chemistry, the world’s leading chemistry community advancing excellence in the chemical sciences, is announcing Russia Chemistry Week, a major event aimed at supporting UK-Russia innovation, understanding and collaboration in chemistry.
The Week, to take place between October 21 and 26 in Moscow, RSC is expected to showcase a number of strands of innovative activity in which the organization is world-leading.
There will be an industry event exploring the role the Royal Society of Chemistry can play in supporting innovation in Russia to SMEs, research groups and multinationals alike.
Also, there will be a publishing day to demonstrate RSC’s work in publishing innovation and allow a forum for discussion on the changing publishing landscape in Russia and the UK.
The Society is holding a cheminformatics event to highlight the most advanced work in mining research data.
Finally, participants may look forward to RSC’s education weekend designed to inspire students, teachers and adults through activities and lectures looking at the shared invention and creative exploration of chemistry in art.
