Start-up of the Year 2011, a closing ceremony

The Higher School of Economics’ Business Incubator is announcing for December 8, 2011 in Moscow a closing ceremony of this year’s Start-up of the Year Award.

The winners out of 12 finalists will be pronounced in the following nominations:

• The Best Technology
• Discovery of the Year / A Quick Start
• A Global Start-up
• The Best Social Focus

On top of that, the Incubator and Internet recruiting agency Pruffi are also awarding The Best Team of the Year prize.

The winners will receive their well-earned Golden Apple statuette—the Award’s main symbol. The winning projects and all the finalists will also be awarded special prizes from our partners. The audience will also be encouraged to participate and choose The Audience’s Best Start-Up; the latter will also be given a statuette. The voting will be enabled by Mobiety.

The Business Incubator, Russian Venture Company and the Moscow Government’s Department for Entrepreneurship award the Start-Up of the Year prize on an annual basis to start-ups that Russia’s business community considers best.
