Kazan’s hi-tech techno-park IT-Park, Republic of Tatarstan, hosted on October 14 its second Mobile People forum that brought together lots of mobile applications enthusiasts.
The event attracted more than 300 participants from all over Russia and the CIS. Managing company Startobaza and IT-Park pooled organizing efforts with the Tatarstan government and Knock Knock Group.
The participants took quality time during the forum sessions and coffee breaks to discuss (via twitter as well) applications, services and games technologies for a variety of mobile platforms and some aspects of design and interface usability. Ways of promoting and marketing the end products were also discussed.
Vladimir Kolesnikov, an expert from Microsoft, presented the newly launched Windows Phone 7.5 Mango platform and its advantages. Google’s Alexei Masterov talked about ways of creating and monetizing a successful mobile business. Speakers from Paragon, I-Free, Nevosoft, Game Insight and other developers were also given the floor. Dmitry Zhukov, a lead designer from Parcsis, shared his secrets of making ‘sexy’ interfaces while Alawar Entertainment’s Alexander Egoshin went into useful details about the peculiarities of mobile games development and marketing.
This is Startobaza’s second experience in putting together an event this big in Kazan.
