Russian analytics integrated into Bosch software

21 Jan '22
Skolkovo resident Videointellect announced the start of cooperation with Bosch Security and Safety Systems, which is part of the international Bosch group of companies. Joint products will be used to build integrated security systems using server video analytics certified for the transport infrastructure of the Russian Federation.

The integration of the Russian developer's software into the Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) will help identify objects in difficult conditions of high passenger traffic and transmit data about them to the operator in real time. Situational video analytics makes it possible to recognize objects left in the frame, lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), movement in a prohibited zone, as well as actions that violate public order (vandalism, fights, etc.) in the online mode. Such solutions have already proved their effectiveness in smart city projects and at transport infrastructure facilities (bus stations in Moscow and Yegoryevsk, railway stations in Petrozavodsk, Ivanovo and Chelyabinsk, as well as more than seventy metro stations in St. Petersburg).
Evgeny Zaitsev, CEO of Videointellect: “The start of cooperation with Bosch Security and Safety Systems, a recognized leader in the field of security, is an important milestone in the history of the company and reflects our structural approach to work and choice of partners. The combination of high-precision, certified Videointellect analytics with Bosch equipment will allow us to offer the market unique security solutions that combine innovation, quality and maximum reliability.
BVMS is a highly reliable video surveillance system that has unique properties and maximum fault tolerance. It is able to support full functionality of video, audio and data management in an IP network, has intelligent event and alarm processing functionality, as well as extensive integration with third-party systems. According to the developers, thanks to the original architecture, the system can easily and efficiently scale up to 200,000 channels, providing a high level of information security in an urban environment.
Evgeny Stenin, Head of Sales of Bosch Video Systems in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan: “The integrated solution of Bosch and Videointellect provides users with the necessary and modern functionality to ensure security at the transport infrastructure of the Russian Federation.”

Vladimir Antonov, Senior Project Manager of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation: “Videointellect has been a member of the Skolkovo project since 2015, and we hope that the integration of their solutions with the Bosch VMS solution will strengthen the company’s position in the video analytics market and allow further develop competencies for the benefit of existing and potential customers”.
