Profotech, a resident of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, will supply an optical electronic current transformer to the United States in March 2021. The equipment is designed to receive data in digital form with high accuracy, said Gennady Dyogtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
Electronic optical transformers help to obtain data directly in digital form with high accuracy and minimal errors. Their implementation provides high-quality measurements and the transition of energy facilities around the world to a wider application of digital technologies.
“A resident of the Moscow SEZ, a manufacturer of optical solutions, will supply an electronic current transformer for laboratory research to the Mitsubishi Electric test center in March next year. If successful, the company's instruments will be used by Mitsubishi in the construction of hydroelectric power plants in America. The contract price was 4.5 million rubles”, - said Gennady Dyogtev.
According to him, the supply became possible within the framework of the three-year cooperation of the resident of the Moscow SEZ with the Swiss company Condis SA. Through Condis SA, the company has already supplied its transformers to Canada, France, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands and the USA. Next year, the manufacturer plans to localize the production of optical transformers in Switzerland in order to export its own products to the markets of Europe and North America. The total volume of the company's exports for three years of operation in the SEZ amounted to 72 million rubles.
Profotech has been a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ since 2018.
