MIPT, aka Phystech, a leading Russian technology university in Moscow, and eNano, a Russian company which is part of Rusnano, the national nanotech giant, have pooled efforts in two joint online training programs to coach students in new tech commercialization and project management, Rusnano announced on its website.

Students may expect to master some useful tools in starting and developing high tech business, and receive expert guidance in putting together and furthering their own actual projects. MIPT will issue certificates for each student who will have completed the course.

One of the programs is aimed at helping entrepreneurs commercialize R&D results. It will offer students a practical toolset to evaluate the commercial viability of a research effort and develop a business proposal based on the evaluation. The program will be led by Vladimir Antonets, an international expert in R&D product commercialization.

The other program will train students in novel project management models, planning techniques, risk management, project stakeholder management, etc. This program will be presented by Grigory Tsipes, a chief consultant at IBS, a major Russian IT holding company.
