KMK goes bust with its $34m debt

Kemerovo region's arbitration court has introduced bankruptcy procedure at furniture retailer Kuzbasskaya Mebelnaya Kompaniya (KMK, Kuzbass Furniture Company), Kommersant reports.

The companys debt, as of late May 2009, reportedly amounts to $34m, its assets are worth a total of $5.3m.

Since February the company has also been undergoing liquidation procedure.
