St. Petersburg-based Baltika Brewery reports its last year’s $123m investment projects.
It was a reported three-time drop in investment from 2008.
According to the company, last year two major investment projects were completed, namely, the installing of higher capacity at its Yaroslavl malt-house and a Baltika-Baku upgrade in Azerbaijan.
Baltika is part of the Carlsberg group of breweries; it owns ten sites in Russia and one in Azerbaijan. The St. Pete firm reportedly accounts for 70% of Russia’s entire beer exports.
