Nizhny Novgorod's planned new Holiday House shopping and entertainment mall is to include a multi-million-dollar 5-hall IMAX 3D cinema, project officials today announced.
The mall, due to open in September 2009, will house only the fourth such cinema in Russia, with others in Moscow, St Petersburg and Kazan.
Films shown on IMAX 3D use special film which, coupled with the audience wearing 3D glasses, allows films to appear in 3D.
The managing firm of the 135,000 square-meter mall also said today latest estimates of the final cost of the mall were $168m.
