Rostov developer Edinstvo has announced plans to invest over $53m building the second launch complex of Megamag mall in Rostov-on-Don.

The 54,000-square-meter second launch complex is reportedly to have 40,000-square-meter Gross Leased Area, with 20% to be occupied by retail shops, 40% to be taken by anchor tenants, 26% to be used by entertainment zone, including a multiplex cinema, and 8% to be kitted out with food court and restaurants.

Construction of the complex is scheduled to start in early 2012, further timeframes for the project have yet to be disclosed.

Megamag’s first 43,000-square-meter launch complex was opened at the left bank of the Don river in late 2009. Investment into the first stage of project totaled $36m.
