Primorsky veterans to get $17.3m apartments

A total of $17.3m is to be spent on purchase of housing for World War II veterans in Far East’s Primorsky region, regional officials report.

Of the total funding, $16m is to be assigned from the federal budget, with $1.3m to be put up by regional authorities.

There are currently 289 veterans in the waiting list to receive apartments in Primorsky region, officials said.
