Amur region’s $8m citizenry relocation plan

A total of $8m is to be spent on citizenry relocation from housing deemed beyond repairs in Amur region, the federal Support for Reforming Housing Utilities reports.

Of the total funding, $7.5m is reportedly to be allocated from the federal Support for Reforming Housing Utilities Fund, and $500,000 is to be put up by regional authorities.

Under plans, the funds are to be used to relocate 844 citizens from 83 slum houses in the city of Blagoveshchensk and the village of Progress.
