Real estate developer seeks high-tech solutions
18 May '20
Quadro, a Russian acceleration program for high-tech real estate development projects, has completed round one of project selection. The accelerator was set up in March 2020 to nurture IT start-ups and blockchain technologies that serve the real estate sector. Glorax Group, a sizable Russian real estate developer, is behind the initiative with its Glorax.Infotech high technology investment arm.
More than 80 applications from companies in Russia and the former Soviet Union have been perused over this 2.5-month period. IT solutions that help conduct online presentations and sales of real estate projects, tools for the smart house concept, solutions for a full repair cycle customized to meet all the needs of a client, and solutions for internal house safety have been picked as promising so far.
Glorax Group is also looking for projects that would offer BIM building modeling, quality control services, and also uber-models in construction (integrated platforms for a real estate developer and an end subcontractor building a house to interact).
The company’s analysts found a clear lack of projects in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data, an area the real estate market is in need of, they noted.
Glorax Group plans to invest $13.5m in projects to be nurtured by the accelerator. The program is open for applications at this accelerator website until mid-December, 2020.
