The Rostov region ups housing resettlement budget to $238.7m.

Members of Legislative Assembly of the Rostov region have made amendments to a law aimed at resettling residents of the Rostov region into better houses, adding $238.7 to the budget.

According to the amendments made to the law, the period of the program implementation has been prolonged by four years, from 2008 to 2011.

The $238.7m budget is broken down as follows: $14.5m is to be earmarked from the federal budget, $133.9m from the fund for assistance to municipal utilities reforming, $54.2m from the regional budget, $5.7m from the local budgets and $30.4m from non-budgetary sources.
