Novosibirsk city administration invests $1m in innovation

In 2007 Novosibirsk city administration earmarked over $1m to the development of innovation activity.

Around $996,000 was invested in transport and road construction-related projects, while $105,757 was invested in communication and computerization-related projects.

The city administration also managed to attract around $570,000 from outside investors to finance communication and computerization projects.

All investment projects were chosen via tender.
