Russian Tungsten will install new equipment in the settlement of Svetlogorye, Primorsky Region, to extract tungsten from ore residue, Primorsky regional officials reported today.

The project value has yet to be announced.

A plant to process ore residue into marketable tungsten concentrate is to be reportedly put into operation in August 2009.
