Donugol launches $2.5m longwall face

Rostov region coal company Donugol has put into commission a $2.6m longwall face at its Sherlovskaya – Naklonnaya mine in Rostov region’s Krasnosulinsky district, the company reports.

The funds were reportedly spent on preparation works, equipment purchase, installation of conveyors, combines, pump stations and linings.

The face’s industrial reserves are estimated at 863,000 tons, its length is 280 meters.

The longwall is scheduled to be operating till July – August 2010.
