Sakhalin-1 gas expected by 2015, governor says

The commencement of gas production and sales under the Sakhalin-1 project has been set for not earlier than 2015, Sakhalin Governor Alexander Khoroshavin announced today.

Project participants will be reportedly producing up to 10 billion cu. m of natural gas a year.

According to the governor, an export share of production has yet to be considered.
