Three Yakutia gas deposits auctioned at min. $18m

The federal subsurface management agency Rosnedra has announced auctions to sell licenses to develop three hydrocarbon deposits in the Western part of the Republic of Yakutia.

The starting total cost is set at $18.2m, including $9.5m for Iktekhsky field, $8.4m for Monulakhsky deposit and $300,000 for Nizhnetyukansky deposit.

The participation bids are accepted before September 11, with the auction to take place on October 14, 2009.
