Polyus Zoloto to build $1.4m geological college in Yakutia

Gold mining company Polyus Zoloto has allocated $1.44m on construction of a mining and geological college in the Republic of Yakutia, news agency RIA Novosti reports.

The educational institute is reportedly to be located in the village of Khandyga of the region’s Tomponsky municipal district.

The funds are assigned under the cooperation agreement between the company and the regional authorities.
