Petropavlovsk Plc to sell 75% of Omchak for $40m

Far East mining company Petropavlovsk Plc has announced plans to sell 75% shares in gold mining firm Omchak, operating in Magadan region, for $40m.

The buyer is the Australian company Meridian Minerals Limited.

The deal is scheduled to be finalized in May 2011.
