Metalloinvest to invest $422m in Mikhailovsky GOK development

Metal manufacturer Metalloinvest has announced plans to invest $422m building a roast machine complex at its Mikhailovsky GOK ore and mining factory in Kursk region.

Equipment for the complex is reportedly to be supplied by the Urals Heavy Machine Building Plant.

The complexs projected annual capacity is 5 million tons of iron-ore pellets. With the complex, the factorys production capacity is expected to increase by 50%.

The new complex is scheduled to be put into commission in H1 2013.
