Solovetskoye to build $2.3m timber plant in Kostroma region

Kostroma region-based timber company Solovetskoye is to invest $2.3m building a timber factory in Kostroma region, regional officials report.

The factory, to be located in the regions Oktyabrsky district, is reportedly to manufacture shaped bars to be used in production of houses, joining parts, linings, surface lumbers and log cabins.

The plant is scheduled to be put into operation in 2011.
