Oil giant Rosneft intends to invest $8.8bn building Primorsky Oil Refinery in Primorsky region, regional officials reports.
The refinery is reportedly to be built in the town of Nakhodka.
The plant’s projected annual capacity is 10 million tons of processed oil with oil processing depth of 95%.
The refinery is scheduled to be put into commission in 2017.
Under plans, up to 90% of the refinery’s products, including engine fuel and petrochemical goods, are to be exported.
