Koreas Hyundai to build electrotechnical plant in Primorsky region

Korean company Hyundai Heavy Industries is considering building a plant to produce electrotechnical equipment in Primorsky region, regional officials report.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

The plant is reportedly to be located in the town of Ussuriysk.

Under plans, the plant is to produce metal-clad switch gears with voltage from 6 to 500 kV, as well as transformers.

Further project parameters, including its timeframes, have yet to be disclosed.
