Oriflame to build $220m complex outside Noginsk

Swedish cosmetics manufacturer Oriflame has announced plans to invest $160-$220m building a logistics and production complex outside the town of Noginsk, Moscow region.

Under plans, the complex is to be built on a 26.5-hectare land site and is to include a 3.5-hectare warehouse complex and 1.5-hectare production facilities.

The plant is reportedly to produce skin and hair care cosmetics, wash products and deodorants.

The factorys projected annual capacity is 150 million pieces of products.

Construction has started and is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
