Fire fighting firm GALS + intends to invest $150m building a complex to produce fire fighting systems in Kaluga region, news agency REGNUM reports.
The complex, to be located on a 41-hectare land site in the village of Detchino, is reportedly to create 1,000 jobs.
Under the project, the complex is to be kitted out with a fire safety center, a plant to produce pipes and pipe parts for fire fighting systems, fire research lab, fire depot, fire extinguishers and balloon filling station, training facility with a 150-guest-room hotel, warehouse and other facilities.
The complex is scheduled to be put into commission in Q1 2012.
