VSMPO-Avisma to invest $200m in modernization in 2011

Sverdlovsk region-based titanium alloys manufacturer VSMPO-Avisma has announced plans to invest $150-$200m in production facilities modernization in 2011.

Total investment into the company’s 2010 – mid-2013 modernization program is reportedly to come in at $500m.

Under plans, the funds are to be used to overhaul melting shop, forge and press shops and other departments within the plant.
