Saint-Gobain to build $20m dry mixtures plant in Sverdlovsk region

French company Saint-Gobain intends to invest $20.3m building a plant to produce dry construction mixtures in Sverdlovsk region, regional officials report.

The project partners are Sverdlovsk regional Government and the RF Investment Fund, who finance infrastructure facilities construction and grant tax benefits.

The plant, to be located in the town of Polevsky, is reportedly to employ 50 workers and is to create additional 150 jobs at co-operated enterprises and infrastructure facilities.

The plantís projected annual capacity is 130,000 tons of mixtures.

The factory is scheduled to be put into commission in late 2011.
