MMK to built $1.8bn ore complex

Magnitogorsk-based metallurgic plant MMK is to build $1.8bn ore mining and processing complex in Prioskolsky district of Belgorod region, the company has reported.

Construction on the plant is to commence in 2009 and will take three years, the firm added.

Prioskolye deposit reserves are estimated to hold some 45 million tons of ore.
